🎟 Arrival & Registration

Doors open on November 22nd, 2024 at 2pm. When you arrive at Lighthaven, you will need to show your confirmation email with the subject line “THE CURVE: ticket + info” to a security guard at the gate on Telegraph Ave to enter. Once inside the gate, please check in at the registration tables. There, you will show your confirmation email and ID to a volunteer, and they’ll give you your badge (with a sticker on it for the bar, if you’re over 21).

The registration desk will be open during the following windows:

Your badge will act as your ticket in for the remainder of the conference. Please wear your badge at all times while you’re at the venue. If staff or security sees you without a badge, they will ask you to put it on. If you lose your badge, please go back to the registration desk, where you can pick up a replacement.

If you are staying at the venue, you’ll be shown to your room when you first arrive.

Coat + Bag Check

We will have coat and bag check available for anyone who needs it, at the registration desk. When you check in, let a registration volunteer know you have an item. They’ll take your item and give you a ticket stub you can show to retrieve your item later. We recommend taking a picture of the ticket stub with your phone in case you lose it.

Parking

There is no parking at the venue. We suggest Ubering, biking, or walking, or taking the 51B bus, which takes you directly to the venue from Downtown Berkeley BART. If you do drive, we recommend parking at the Telegraph Channing Parking Garage (15 min walk away), or you can look for street parking. We do ask that if you park on the street, you try to park at least two blocks away from the venue to avoid annoying the neighbors.
